A Horse’s liver performs more physiological functions than any other organ in the body. The health of the liver is key to the health of a horse: “No liver, no horse”. HIPPO Liver Plus is suitable for long term dosing in the trough or on feed. It is competition safe and suitable for all life stages including in-foal mares.
Note: If you are buying this formulation for a lactating mare, we recommend that you use it in bursts of 3 days on, then off, so that it doesn’t boost milk too much (and engorge). If not lactating then ideal for continuous use. Takes about 3 weeks to see effect
You can buy in 1 litre, 2 litre and 5 litre jerry cans to dose the whole herd via the trough or on feed by selecting the JERRY CANS 1, 2 AND 5 LITRE menu here or on the home page. Each litre provides 3 months treatment based on the regime below.
**TESTIMONIAL** “I’d like to order more of the Liver Plus asap. It's cleared up the itchy welts he kept getting and his coat is looking superb. We’ve all noticed that he is happier and keen to work. - Lyn S, Auckland
